What 4 Fun in 1 wants from you

4 Fun in 1 (Armenia, Limited, 1981) is a four-game multi-cart: pick Galactic Convoy, Scramble Pt2, Galaxian Pt5, or The Ghost Muncher, then clear that game’s patterns before continues empty. Mode literacy beats mash. Learn each of the four cold—do not paste clean Scramble/Galaxian/Pac habits blindly onto these Pt/Muncher variants. Pick one game per credit until its patterns are narratable; multi-game chrome is packaging, not four free clears.

First minutes in 4 Fun in 1

Pick one of the four, map its controls, take slow first screens without hopping titles mid-tilt. Power-cycle once so 4-in-1 chrome stops looking like clean Midway/Konami originals. Early sessions teach Fun in 1 grammar: one-game focus before menu routes that burn credits hopping all four mid-death on later picks.

Core systems in 4 Fun in 1

Game select, per-title movement/fire, enemy patterns, lives/continues, and 4 Fun in 1 UI define the systems. Skill is finishing one variant under multi-game distraction—not treating the menu as the score. After continues, reconfirm which of the four is live before blaming “the cab.” Keep a one-sentence difference note versus clean Scramble/Galaxian/Pac if you hopped mid-session.

Score, continues, and resources in 4 Fun in 1

Stage progress in the live title scores the run; deaths tax continues. Continues are coins. Fewer blind title hops and fewer imported clean-ROM habits keep credits alive. Farming the menu forever without finishing one variant still leaves 4 Fun in 1 unread. Progress is a session path you can narrate without guessing which of the four you were in.

Mistakes that burn credits in 4 Fun in 1

Hopping all four mid-tilt, importing clean Scramble/Galaxian timing blindly, mash without reading Pt/Muncher patterns, and rage-continuing without naming the live game burn credits. Power-cycling mid-tilt without a plan burns another credit. Next credit: one title, slow patterns—stop when the plan stops, not when the menu invents another pick.

Next steps after 4 Fun in 1

When one 4 Fun in 1 title clears cleanly, compare its clean arcade cousin on paper, then return with another single-title credit. Keep playing until menu-hop empties stop ending sessions mid-stage on later picks. Cousin multi-game boards help as contrast after Fun in 1 feels automatic—not as escape from variants you still abandon for the menu. Finish one embedded game before you browse again.
